The first reptile I ever saw was in my local pet shop. I can't remember what species of lizard it was, but I remember being fascinated by it. I begged my parents to let me have one, but they weren't having it.

Many years later I finally got my first reptile, a Corn Snake, and I was hooked.

The more I learn about reptiles and amphibians, the more fascinated I become. Their incredible diversity, adaptations and evolution give me an endless supply of subjects to photograph, and my studio has become a place where I can explore them in a completely different way.
